Through diverse programmes, including workshops, competitions, and mentoring, TAFU inspires youth to use their skills in areas like IT, photography, and filmmaking to create impactful projects with meaningful goals.

In collaboration with partners and sponsors, including BCS, IBM, and the University of Bedfordshire, TAFU leads projects that address climate challenges and sustainability issues, building a global community committed to positive environmental change.

The TAFU – BCS Award is a collaborative initiative between TAFU and the British Computer Society (BCS) designed to encourage students to develop innovative technological solutions addressing sustainability challenges.

The competition is open to students across five categories: Postgraduates and Recent Graduates, Undergraduates and Apprentices, A-Level, T-Level, and BTEC Students, GCSE Students, and Year 9 and below.

Participants have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and technical skills, with winners receiving valuable prizes, including laptops, mentorship from industry professionals, internships or placements in summer skills camps, official recognition from both organisations, and assistance in establishing industry connections.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held at IBM's London office in May, with all finalists invited to attend.
